WWI German M1898 Quillback Bayonet

Original, WWI era German S98 bayonet and scabbard.  Blade is proofed with imperial crown and W05 (1905) and maker marked "Erfurt."   Blade measures about 20-1/2 inches.  Scabbard is in good shape but doesn't fit properly, it is 5/8" short of the crossguard.  Leather scabbard has proofs and is unit marked 142.R.11.91.
