Original M40 army single decal helmet.  Shell retains the original period paint.  WH eagle on left side is approximately 90% intact.  Never had the national tricolor decal.  Helmet band is intact with complete, original leather liner in supple clean condition.  Complete chin strap is intact.  No dents or cracks to shell.  Shell is marked Q62 on left side, the lot numbers T605 are on the back edge.  Very nice original helmet.
