Original M40 army single decal helmet.  Shell retains the original period paint.  WH eagle on left side is approximately 75% intact.  Never had the national tricolor decal.  Helmet band is intact with complete, original leather liner.  Reminants of chin strap, has both studs.  No dents or cracks to shell.  Shell is marked Q66 on left side, the lot numbers 31174 are on the back edge.  Very nice original helmet.
