German Wehrpass Document Grouping
Item: GM1134

Original Wehrpass issued in 1939 to a 45 year old man from Karlsruhe.  Has many entries and stamps.  Was in a landesschützen battalion for a few years.  Was qualified to use a Police Walther pistol and 98K rifle. Had infantry schooling.  Entries end July, 1943.  Comes with two post war documents.  One is a 1954 dated death certificate for the man.  He died June 15, 1944 in or near Nijmegen.  The second is a letter giving the location of the man's burial in Venray.  Nice, complete document grouping which may be researchable.
