WWII AAF Summer Flight Suit Hell's Angels
Item: WWII7296

OD colored cotton flight suit, type AN-S-31.  Has the waist belt and leather rank and name tape for F.H. Thompson.  Size 42 medium.  Has a couple small holes.  Zipper works fine.  Frank H. Thompson was the pilot of the Augerhead, a B17 in the 358th Bomb Squad, 303rd Bomb Group, Hell's Angels.  Thompson survived the war but was killed in a plane crash May 29, 1953 while on active duty in Japan.  He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.  Flight suit comes with the research material.  Acquired directly from the family.
