Original WWI US Trench knife and scabbard. The interior of the knuckle guard is maker stamped "LF & C" with 1917 date. Knife was altered with the removal of the knuckles.  Wooden handle is wrapped in black cloth tape.  Appears to have been done quite some time ago.  Has the original scabbard which is stamped "Jewell 1918". It is missing the tip.
